Madrid, September 07 (QNA) - HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met with HE Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Spain Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez, during His Excellency's visit to Spain.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, particularly in security fields, in addition to discussing a number of topics of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, HE the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and his Spanish counterpart signed a Letter of Intent for cooperation between the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Spain regarding security coverage for the FIFA World Cup 2030.
