11 People Killed, 5 Others Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, September 07 (QNA) - Eleven people were killed and five others injured on Monday as a result of Israeli warplane strikes on a residential building and a civilian vehicle in the town of Kfar Roummane in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an airstrike targeted a three-story residential building in Kfar Roummane, killing nine people, including two infants, and injuring five others.
An Israeli drone also targeted a civilian vehicle in the town, killing two paramedics who were inside.
In the same context, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on the areas of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Arabsalim, one of which resulted in the destruction of a house in Arabsalim.
Israeli forces had issued an evacuation warning last night for a building in the town of Deir El Zahrani, before warplanes targeted and destroyed it approximately 22 minutes later.
The strikes come amid continued escalation and tensions in southern Lebanon, with growing fears that Israeli attacks could expand in scope and target additional residential areas. (QNA)
