Doha, September 6 (QNA) - The Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE) is set to organize the "Engineering Consulting Conference and Exhibition 2026" on October 6 and 7.

The event will serve as a platform bringing together consulting firms and relevant stakeholders under one roof to build genuine partnerships and explore new opportunities. The conference will feature the participation of leading project owners, government and private entities, engineers, and those interested in the engineering and construction sector.

The conference and its accompanying exhibition are part of the Society's ongoing efforts to elevate the engineering sector and enhance communication among various stakeholders. This will be achieved by showcasing excellence and innovation, presenting advanced engineering capabilities, and facilitating the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the fields of engineering, planning, and project management. This, in turn, will strengthen the presence of leading brands in the engineering consulting sector and support the comprehensive development system in the State of Qatar.

The conference's main objectives and themes will focus on discussing legislation and challenges in engineering consulting practice, establishing the concepts of sustainability, building design, and efficient engineering designs, reviewing digital transformation applications and artificial intelligence tools, and highlighting the role of local products and the role of engineering firms in engineering issues.

The conference program, spanning two days, includes a range of events and activities, including six panel discussions and six presentations by participating consulting firms.

QSE Chairperson, Eng. Amna Mohammed Al Naama stated on this occasion that the Society is committed to providing comprehensive platforms that contribute to the development of engineering consulting practices. She noted that this event represents an exceptional opportunity to connect consulting firms with decision-makers and project owners.

She added that through this conference and exhibition, the Society aims to support national and regional talent and expertise, and to showcase the latest engineering solutions and innovations.
