Kuwait, September 6 (QNA) - The State of Kuwait has strongly condemned the statements made by two ministers in the Israeli government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that these statements constitute a blatant infringement on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry reiterated Kuwait's categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people, calling upon the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities in confronting any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The Ministry emphasized that such proposals undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among them US President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which included a firm rejection of forced displacement, and warned of their serious repercussions on the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region.

The Ministry also affirmed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory and stressed the need to preserve the unity of the Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It further reiterated Kuwait's firm and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
