European Stocks Open Higher
Brussels, September 30 (QNA) - European stock indices rose at the start of trading on Wednesday, amid investors' move toward risk-taking, despite the release of data showing a slowdown in inflation and consumption in France, which limited market gains in early trading.
In the main European markets, the French CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rose 0.21 percent, while the German DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange climbed 0.69 percent.
Meanwhile, the UK FTSE 100 index in London rose 0.79 percent, while Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange recorded a 0.11 percent increase, reaching 51,861 points. (QNA)
