Rabat, September 29 (QNA) - Morocco's King Mohammed VI on Tuesday granted full discretion to coordinator of the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri to form the new Moroccan government.

A statement by the Ministry of the Royal Palaces, Protocol and Decorations of Morocco said King Mohammed VI met with El Mansouri at the Royal Palace of Rabat and appointed her as Prime Minister, tasking her with forming the new government pursuant to Article 47 of the Constitution.

Recently, Moroccan Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit declared that PAM had a landslide victory, obtaining 97 seats, with the National Rally of Independents coming in second with 66 seats, followed by the Istiqlal Party with 65 seats and the Justice and Development Party with 54 seats. (QNA)
