Doha, September 28 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the United Republic of Tanzania signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries.

The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the United Republic of Tanzania was held on Monday in Doha.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani chaired the Qatari side, while HE Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba chaired Tanzania's side.

The round of political consultations discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, along with the latest regional and international developments. It also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. (QNA)
