Occupied Jerusalem, September 27 (QNA) - Israeli settlers stormed on Sunday Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing Palestinian sources, reported that a number of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards through Bab Al-Magharibah Gate. They conducted provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals, while occupation forces tightened military measures in the mosque's vicinity and throughout the Old City of Jerusalem.

These incursions are part of the Israeli occupation's efforts to obliterate the Islamic and historic identity of Jerusalem and carry out its plans for the temporal and spatial division of the Mosque. (QNA)
