Tokyo, September 25 (QNA) - Qatar national team swimmer Saad Eddine qualified for the men's 400m freestyle final at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, currently being held in Japan through Oct. 4.

Saad Eddine secured his place in the final after clocking 3:55.48 in the heats following a highly competitive race, continuing his impressive showing at the continental Games.

The Qatari swimmer is aiming to maintain his strong performance in the final, achieve a creditable result for Qatari swimming and further strengthen his presence in Asian competition.

The swimming program at the Asian Games features 41 events, including individual and relay races.

Qatar is participating in the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 with a delegation of 427 members, including 243 athletes. (QNA)
