Riyadh, September 24 (QNA) - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the list of match officials for the AFC Asian Cup 2027, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Jan. 7 to Feb. 5, 2027. The list includes several Qatari referees selected to officiate matches during the tournament. 
The list features international referees Abdulrahman Al Jassim and Salman Falahi, along with assistant referees Taleb Salem Al Marri, Saud Ahmed, and Majid Hadeeras. 
Khamis Al Marri was selected as part of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) team, while Abdulrahman Abdo will serve as a technical instructor and Banjar Al Dosari as a fitness instructor. 
The selection of Qatari officials for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 highlights the presence of Qatar's refereeing talent in major continental competitions, particularly one of Asia's most prominent tournaments. (QNA)
