New York, September 23 (QNA) - Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi met today with Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset.
The meeting took place on the margins of their participation in the meetings of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed a raft of topics, foremost among them taking stock of GCC-Council of Europe relations and ways to deepen and expand them, as well as several proposals pertinent to this matter.
The two sides also addressed the situation in the region and its impact on regional and global security and stability. (QNA)
