Doha, September 21 (QNA) - HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, met with the Head of the Central Authority for Supervision and Inspection (CASI) of the Syrian Arab Republic, Amer Al Ali, and the delegation accompanying him, during his visit to Doha.

The meeting reviewed cooperation between relevant departments in the Ministry and CASI, as well as methods of strengthening and developing them.

The delegation viewed a presentation on the specializations of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Unit that covered efforts made by the Unit in supervision and inspection of related matters.

At the end of the presentation, the Syrian delegation praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Justice and its pioneering legal experience.

The Syrian delegation expressed its aspiration to strengthen joint work and exchange experiences and data in the legal and supervision fields, as well as the exchange of mechanisms to strengthen supervision and fight corruption and money laundering, and make proper decisions to develop legal work between the two friendly countries.
