Israeli Occupation Authorities Renew Administrative Detention Orders Against 45 Prisoners
Ramallah, September 02 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation authorities had renewed administrative detention orders against 45 Palestinian detainees for varying periods, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a statement Wednesday.
The statement contended that this move constitutes detention without charge or trial, without allowing the detainee or their lawyer to examine the evidence.
It stressed that this action is conspicuously at variance with international humanitarian law, making Israel the only entity to systematically apply this policy.
The occupation authorities justify these measures by citing secret files that they squirrel away, leaving the detainee in custody without knowing why they are being held or how long they will remain in detention. (QNA)
