Baghdad, September 02 (QNA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al Zaidi met Wednesday with a delegation from the US-based Atlantic Council, led by Director of the Iraq Initiative within the Council's Middle East Programs, Victoria J. Taylor, during their visit to Baghdad.
Sectors of development, energy and the economy are vital areas for reinforcing Baghdad-Washington cooperation, said Al Zaidi during the meeting.
He added that the developing investment climate Iraq abounds with, undergirded by government measures, intends to facilitate procedures for major American firms.
The meeting explored ways to deepen the Iraq-US relationship and unlock prospects for partnership between the two countries.
Al Zaidi further emphasized that Iraq is open to all initiatives that would strengthen this relationship and help achieve shared interests. (QNA)
