Doha, September 18 (QNA) - Qatar Padel Federation and Al Rayan Bank have signed a partnership agreement making the bank a gold sponsor of the 2026 and 2028 FIP Padel World Cups, both to be hosted in Doha.

The 2026 tournament will take place from November 2 to 7 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, featuring leading men's and women's national teams from around the world.

Al Rayan Bank General Manager of Corporate and Wholesale Banking Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani said the partnership reflected the bank's commitment to supporting sport, healthy lifestyles and Qatar's ambitions as a global sporting destination.

Qatar Padel Federation Secretary-General Tareq Zainal said the renewed partnership would strengthen cooperation between national institutions and the sports sector, adding that the bank's involvement would support Qatar's hosting of major international events.

The partnership builds on the bank's previous support for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open tennis tournament and expands its involvement to one of the world's leading padel events. (QNA)
