Qatar Grants 1.3 Million Liters of Fuel to Support Health Sector in Gaza
Doha, September 17 (QNA) - The State of Qatar signed an agreement with the United Nations to deliver approximately 1.3 million liters of fuel to the Gaza Strip as a grant aimed at sustaining critical health services and essential humanitarian operations.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the initiative continues Qatar's ongoing emergency response, bringing its total fuel aid to the Strip to around 30 million liters provided between October 7, 2023, and late March 2026.
The grant will help maintain operations across key hospitals and medical centers, benefiting an estimated 2.1 million Palestinians, including children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, while supporting other vital civilian infrastructure reliant on fuel supplies. (QNA)
