Gaza, September 17 (QNA) - The death toll from the war of extermination waged by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,821 in addition to 174,897 injured since October 7, 2023.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received five martyrs-including two who succumbed to earlier wounds-and 28 newly injured individuals over the past 24 hours.
It noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,386, with 4,784 injuries recorded, while 831 bodies have been recovered. Meanwhile, a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them. (QNA)
