Washington, September 15 (QNA) - OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT chatbot, said it is working with Anthropic, the company behind the Claude model, and Google, the developer of the Gemini application, to establish a body to oversee artificial intelligence risks, amid growing calls to rein in the technology's development.
OpenAI said it is working with the two companies on the proposal following a suggestion by a Google official to establish a regulatory body modeled on the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, which oversees financial brokers and investment firms. (QNA)
