593 Settlers Provocatively Flock Into Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Occupation Forces' Escort
Occupied Jerusalem, September 14 (QNA) - Jerusalem Governorate said 593 settlers marched into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound Monday in cascading formations while being escorted by Israeli occupation soldiers.
The Governorate's statement reported that they emerged from the Dung Gate, provocatively circumambulated the compound and conducted Talmudic rituals on the eastern side of the mosque, particularly opposite the Dome of the Rock, as occupation police personnel were prowling extensively there.
These mass intrusions come on the third day of the Jewish New Year, after hundreds of those settlers stormed the mosque on Sunday and engaged in the same acts, synchronously with the heightened blockade imposed by the occupation authorities on worshipers' access.
As worshipers approached the gates, several of their IDs had been confiscated. (QNA)
