Egypt, Turkiye Affirm Importance of Diplomacy in Establishing Regional Stability
Cairo, September 11 (QNA) - Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan affirmed, during a phone call, the importance of continuing coordination between their countries regarding the crises facing the region, intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent them from spreading, and supporting political and diplomatic tracks in a manner that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability.
In a statement today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two ministers discussed regional issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
During the call, the two ministers affirmed their keenness to enhance cooperation in various fields, particularly trade and investment, and to implement the outcomes of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in February this year. (QNA)
