Pakistan, Turkiye FMs Discuss Regional Developments
Islamabad, September 10 (QNA) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed in a phone call today with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan regional developments and ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations.
During the call, the two sides renewed their joint position on the Palestinian cause and expressed their support for the joint statement issued by eight Arab and Islamic countries on the decision of the United Kingdom to ban imports of illegal Israeli settlements and impose restrictions on related services, in addition to the joint statement issued by the United Kingdom and other European countries on the two-state solution.
The Foreign Ministers stressed the importance of continuing close consultation and coordination on regional issues, including through the framework of the Quartet of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and Turkiye. (QNA)
