Doha, August 04 (QNA) - The Qatar Cultural Center for the Blind (QCCB) organized a summer camp for its female members.
Held in an interactive environment that combines learning and recreation, the summer camp aimed to strengthen self-confidence, develop personal and life skills, and highlight participants' hidden potential.
Coach Hiba Al Abdullah led a discussion session that addressed the importance of self-awareness, identifying personal strengths, building self-confidence, and transforming challenges and perceived weaknesses into opportunities for growth and development.
Al Abdullah encouraged participants to step outside their comfort zones and acquire new skills that would help them develop socially, spiritually, and physically, enabling them to materialize their goals.
The camp also included a segment where participants showcased their talents and creative abilities across a variety of fields, reflecting their potential and reinforcing their confidence in their capabilities.
It also featured a workshop that provided participants with a space to express their ideas and creativity through interactive artistic and hands-on activities.
The summer camp came as part of the QCCB's commitment to offering high-quality programs that empower blind girls, enhance their independence, develop their life and leadership skills, and promote cooperation, communication, and mutual support.
It sought to enable them to make the most of their abilities and talents in service of themselves and their community.
The camp included an open day, which concluded with an honoring ceremony for participants, presenting them with certificates of participation, amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positivity, which reflects the summer camp's meaningful impact on participants. (QNA)
