Doha, August 30 (QNA) - The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched the "Meshka" digital services application as a unified online platform that enables the public to access a wide diversity of religious and guidance services through a modern and user-friendly experience.

In a statement Sunday, the Ministry highlighted that the move grows out of its efforts to foster digital transformation and improve the service system provided to beneficiaries, in alignment with the Ministry's strategic plan, in addition to supporting the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 in building a more powerful and creative government sector capable of leveraging digital solutions for the community.

The application is a monolithic digital platform that literally intends to streamline procedures for the public by having more than 50 online services in place to cover a number of sectors and domains considered critical to the Ministry's operations, chiefly mosque services, Dawah and guidance, Hajj and Umrah, as well as Holy Qur'an contests, the statement reads.

The statement further noted that this utility helps strengthen awareness of the Ministry's digital services by combining an easy-to-use platform offering services and mechanisms for their utilization, along with information and procedures linked to the application in a direct manner.

For mosque services, the ministry said the application enables users to locate nearby mosques accurately through interactive maps, providing information on each mosque, including available facilities and related services, thereby facilitating easy access.

For Quranic competitions, the application provides a combined system that enables students to participate and train in a virtual environment that simulates real examinations, better preparing participants for the actual tests.

Regarding services related to religious outreach and guidance, the statement said the application facilitates users' access to religious awareness materials, licensed Quranic healers, and religious inquiries, thereby boosting the ministry's role in promoting sound religious awareness and streamlining access to trusted guidance services.

In addition, the statement noted that this utility offers meritorious services when it comes to Hajj and Umrah by expediting registration procedures and following up on submissions, along with providing regulatory instructions, as well as relevant preventive and health tips for those who wish to perform the rites.

Overall, the application relies on a monolithic technological structure that connects a variety of the Ministry's systems in an interoperable manner to ensure scrupulous data flow and timely information updates.

It likewise helps provide more effective and reliable services within a safe system, against the backdrop of robust personal data protection safeguards, with the measures designed to bolster public confidence in its digital services. (QNA)
