120 Settlers Storm Into Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Occupation Police Protection
Occupied Jerusalem, August 30 (QNA) - Palestinian sources stated Sunday that 120 settlers marched into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound while flanked by Israeli occupation police.
The sources added that they entered through the Dung Gate and provocatively conducted rounds and Talmudic rituals across the compound.
This comes in the wake of heightened Israeli security measures aimed at precluding worshipers from accessing the compound, especially on Fridays and during religious holidays.
The occupation forces are extensively mustered on the streets of Jerusalem, as well as around the perimeter of the Old City and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The mosque continues to come under repeated raids by settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, amid persistent abuses against Palestinians and their holy sites. (QNA)
