Doha Bank Stars League: Al Duhail, Al Arabi Coaching Staff Keen on Three Points Ahead of Saturday's Match
Doha, August 28 (QNA) - Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi of Algeria stressed that his team was ready to face Al Arabi on Saturday at Al Bayt Stadium, in the second round of the Doha Bank Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Belmadi said the match against Al Arabi would be tough and challenging given the quality of players in the opposing squad.
He added that his team had performed well in its opening-round match against Al Sailiya and would seek to maintain the same level of performance, while acknowledging the difficulty of the task against Al Arabi.
For his part, Assistant coach of Al Arabi's first team Laurentiu Russo said the match was very important and that the team has been preparing well for it over the past few days in hope of getting all three points. He stressed that there was no room for error in the upcoming match.
He added that the draw in their opening match against Al Shamal will serve as extra motivation to get the three points this time around. (QNA)
