Two Killed, Nine Others Injured in Deliberate Car Crash in Northern France
Paris, August 27 (QNA) - Two people were killed, and nine others were injured in a deliberate car crash that targeted people near a train station in the city of Caen in northern France.
The Ministere public of France stated that one of the victims met their fate at the place of the incident, while the other died subsequently as a result of a severe injury. Some of the other victims dealt with fractures in the lower body.
Investigation is ongoing under the charges of murder and attempted murder as well as deliberate use of violence, the French Ministere public explained.
It added that the suspect, aged 26, was living illegally in France with a clean record, unknown to the officials, with only traffic violations.
The suspect was arrested in the coastal town of Ouistreham, north of Caen, in the Normandy region of northwestern France. (QNA)
