Doha, August 25 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Tuesday, gaining 44.45 points, or 0.46 percent, to 9,785.09 points.
A total of 115,352,801 shares were traded during the session, with a turnover of QAR 276,189,339.691 across 18,808 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 24 companies advanced, whereas those of 27 others declined, while the shares of three companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization rose to QAR 588,205,232,715.102, compared with QAR 587,243,118,389.228 in the previous session. (QNA)
