Doha, August 24 (QNA) - Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori, affirmed the Chamber's strong support for Qatari entrepreneurs and its commitment to empowering them, highlighting the vital role entrepreneurs play in driving economic diversification, fostering innovation, and accelerating Qatar's transition toward a knowledge-based economy.
This came during the speech he delivered at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Summer Innovation Camp for Entrepreneurship, organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Club under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports and Youth at Andaz Doha. Held in partnership with Qatar Chamber and Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), the ceremony was attended by a number of entrepreneurs, representatives of sponsoring organizations, and other stakeholders.
Al Mansori noted that the Summer Entrepreneurship Camp provided an interactive educational environment, enabling participants to discover their talents, foster teamwork, and gain practical insights into entrepreneurship tailored to their age and interests.
He also said that the ideas, projects, and achievements of tomorrow begin with nurturing a generation equipped with knowledge, self-confidence, creative thinking, and the ability to turn ideas into initiatives and scalable projects.
Qatar Chamber continues to strengthen its collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs Club and other organizations supporting entrepreneurship by supporting initiatives and youth-focused programs that help young people realize their potential and develop their entrepreneurial skills, he added.
For his part, Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, Dr. Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, said that the camp represented a national youth experience, pointing out that it was not merely a series of general training programs, but a genuine platform for young people to test their ability to make an impact, take action, and build, transforming an idea into a model, a model into an opportunity, and an opportunity into a project that can contribute to the economy and society.
