Brussels, August 24 (QNA) - European stocks closed mixed on Monday, giving up some of their earlier gains as investors remained cautious ahead of key events this week, particularly the earnings report from Nvidia, the world's largest company by market capitalization.
France's CAC 40 fell 0.37 percent, while Germany's DAX declined 0.11 percent.
Meanwhile, the UK's FTSE 100 gained 0.35 percent, while Italy's FTSE MIB fell 0.24 percent. (QNA)
