Egyptian, French Foreign Ministers Discuss over Phone Regional Updates, De-escalation
Cairo, August 24 (QNA) - Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty and his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrot, discussed the latest regional developments and ways to de-escalate tensions in the region, during a phone call on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultations over the coming period, in light of the important role played by Egypt and France in supporting regional stability and promoting the resolution of crises through political and diplomatic means, in a manner that contributes to enhancing security and peace in the Middle East.
