Gaza, August 23 (QNA) - A Palestinian was martyred Sunday, and two others were injured in an airstrike and shooting in central and southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian was martyred and another critically injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting people near the entrance to Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A child was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire on eastern areas, displaced persons’ tents in Asdaa area and its surroundings, and several towers in Hamad City.
Israeli occupation warships also opened fire off the coast of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while artillery shelling targeted the northern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,419 martyrs, with 174,364 people injured. (QNA)
