Doha, August 22 (QNA) - The Gulf Football Federation (GFF) has unveiled a new logo for the 2026-2027 season of the Gulf Club Champions League. The tournament is set to run from 13 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, featuring 12 clubs representing the federation's member associations.

The new logo reflects the growing stature of the Gulf Club Champions League and marks a new phase of development and excellence in Gulf club competitions, the GFF said in a statement.

A football sits at the center of the design, ringed by flowing lines representing motion, unity and the competition that brings the Gulf's best clubs together. Its circular form also symbolizes the tournament's journey, from the opening whistle to the moment a champion is crowned, with each edition adding a new chapter to the competition's story.

GFF Secretary-General Jassim Sultan Al Rumaihi said: "The new logo represents our ambition vision to deliver an exceptional third edition, in collaboration with our member associations and partners. We are certain that this design will truly resonate with fans across the region."

He added: "The countdown to the region's premier club competition starts now. Our focus over the coming months is to create an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike." (QNA)
