Russian Defense Ministry Announces Destruction of 635 Ukrainian Drones, Two People Killed
Moscow, August 02 (QNA) -Russian air defense systems intercepted 635 Ukrainian drones overnight, the defense ministry said Sunday.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Tambov, Tula regions.
In addition, the drones were also intercepted over the Moscow region, Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, the Azov and Black Seas.
In the same context, the governor of the Saratov Region announced that two people were killed in a drone attack in the region.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily reports claiming advances or the repulsion of attacks by the other side.
These reports cannot be independently verified due to the ongoing hostilities. (QNA)
