Riyadh, August 19 (QNA) - The GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), represented by the GCC Standardization Training Center, has signed an institutional accreditation contract with Masar, the National Center for Training Evaluation and Accreditation affiliated with Saudi Arabia's Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC).

The contract, signed at GSO headquarters in Riyadh, paves the way for the practical phase of the training center's institutional accreditation process.

GSO President Eng. Jabor Mohammed Al Naimi led the organization's delegation at the signing ceremony. The contract was signed on behalf of GSO by GCC Standardization Training Center Director Sami Al Buraidi and on behalf of ETEC by Dr. Mohammed Al Khayri, Executive Director of Masar.

The agreement marks a key step toward formally launching the center's institutional accreditation process and reflects GSO's commitment to promoting quality and institutional excellence in training, developing a sustainable GCC training system, and equipping professionals in the fields of standardization and quality in line with international best practices and standards.

The accreditation will further strengthen the center's role as a specialized GCC training platform for capacity building and knowledge and expertise sharing, while supporting GSO's efforts to develop quality infrastructure and advance GCC integration in this field. (QNA)
