QF's BilAraby Concludes Cultural Dialogue Series in Syria, Jordan and Tunisia
Doha, August 18 (QNA) - BilAraby, a Qatar Foundation's (QF) initiative, has concluded three stops of its "BilAraby in…" series in Syria, Jordan, and Tunisia, featuring speakers who presented ideas in Arabic rooted in their experiences and the realities of their communities.
The series' first stop took place in Damascus, Syria, under the theme "Youth Experiences and Shared Spaces", addressing topics related to ambition, creating hope, art, heritage, freedom, and the role of knowledge in serving society.
It then moved to Amman, Jordan, under the title "BilAraby in Amman: The Pulse of Letters and the Spirit of Achievement", and concluded in Djerba, Tunisia, where discussions addressed ways to preserve cultural memory and reimagine it through education, art, tourism, and content creation.
BilAraby will continue its 2026 program with its Annual Gathering, to be hosted in Doha on Sept. 19-20 at Multaqa (Education City Student Center) under the theme "With Our Ideas, We Build".
The BilAraby Annual Gathering is the initiative's largest annual event in Doha, part of a series of regional events aimed at spreading inspiring ideas, and will feature workshops, panel discussions, and interactive activities.
Overall, BilAraby is a leading cultural initiative launched by QF in 2024 to encourage ideas and creativity in Arabic.
Under the theme "Ideas Have a Voice and an Echo", the initiative celebrates the stories and creativity of Arabic speakers and highlights the diversity and cultural richness of the Arab world.
It also provides a digital platform aimed at promoting constructive dialogue and knowledge exchange. (QNA)
