European Stocks Open Mixed
Brussels, August 17 (QNA) - European stock indices opened mixed on Monday, amid a state of caution and anticipation in the markets, with investors monitoring developments in US monetary policy.
In the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange posted a slight increase of 0.02 percent, while Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rose by 0.09 percent.
In London, the British FTSE 100 index rose by 0.31 percent, while Italy's Milan Stock Exchange index climbed by 0.45 percent. (QNA)
