Doha, August 16 (QNA) - Qatar launched Hayyoh on Sunday, a new national initiative designed to boost fan engagement and participation in sporting events.

The launch press conference outlined how the Hayyoh platform works, rewarding the public for attending eligible sporting events by awarding points and allowing them to advance through membership tiers. Users can then redeem their accumulated points for a range of rewards, offers and experiences from Hayyoh's network of partners.

The Hayyoh experience is built around a simple concept: buying a ticket, attending an eligible sporting event, and earning 1,000 Hayyoh points for each event attended.

Users can redeem their accumulated points for a diverse range of exclusive rewards, offers and experiences provided by Hayyoh's partner network.

The platform also enables users to progress through five membership tiers that reflect their level of activity and continued participation. The tiers begin with Member, followed by Bronze, Silver and Gold, and culminate in Platinum, the highest tier.

Registration and membership in Hayyoh are free of charge for Qatari citizens and residents of the State of Qatar who hold a valid Qatar ID. Young people aged 12 to 17 may also participate through a dedicated account, subject to the consent of a parent or legal guardian. This helps encourage children and young people to engage with sport and attend sporting events from an early age.

The platform has been designed to deliver a simple and integrated digital experience. Through a single account, users can discover eligible events, track their participation, points balance and membership tier, and view and redeem the available rewards, offers and experiences.

Hayyoh's partner network is a key component of the platform, providing the rewards, offers and experiences that users can redeem with their accumulated points. The platform said it remains open to adding more partners in the future, expanding and diversifying the benefits available to users..

Hayyoh places fans at the heart of the sporting experience by turning attendance into an ongoing journey of participation, engagement and rewards.

The initiative seeks to foster a stronger and more lasting connection between fans and sport while encouraging greater attendance at a wide range of sporting events. (QNA)
