European Stocks Open Slightly Higher
Brussels, August 13 (QNA) - European stock indexes opened slightly higher on Thursday, benefiting from the sense of relief that prevailed in the markets following the release of the latest US inflation data, alongside stable oil prices.
Among the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rose 0.22 percent, while Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange gained 0.39 percent.
Meanwhile, Italy's Milan Stock Exchange index rose 0.46 percent, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London fell 0.16 percent. (QNA)
