Doha, August 11 (QNA) - The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has detected 27 individuals who submitted falsified experience certificates to obtain healthcare practice licences in the State of Qatar during the first half of this year. The individuals have been permanently blocked from working in the country's healthcare sector.
Dr Saad Al Kaabi, Director of the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) at the MoPH, explained that verification of applicants' credentials takes place at the initial stages of the registration and licensing process. The preliminary screening of applicants serves to identify fraudulent applications at an early stage.
The MoPH is committed to maintaining the highest standards for licensing international healthcare practitioners, ensuring that only highly qualified professionals are authorised to provide safe and high-quality medical services in Qatar. The rigorous verification process for applicants' academic qualifications and practical experience is conducted in collaboration with specialised institutions to verify the authenticity and reliability of the information provided.
