Washington, August 10 (QNA) - Apple has begun testing a new version of its iPhone operating system, iOS 26.6.1, to address a bug that appeared in the Shortcuts app's auto run feature after the release of iOS 26.6.

Users reported that the bug disabled some of their automated commands, which allow actions to be performed automatically when specific conditions are met, such as reaching a particular location, arriving at a certain time, or experiencing low battery.

Apple typically uses minor updates to address bugs and issues that need fixing before the next major update is released.
