Gaza, July 07 (QNA) - The death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,102, with 173,581 others injured.

Palestinian medical sources said hospitals across the Gaza Strip had received four fatalities and 11 injured persons over the past 24 hours.

They noted that the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire on Oct. 11 has reached 1,076, while the total number of injuries has climbed to 3,474, adding that 799 bodies had been dug out from under bombed-out buildings.

The sources further highlighted that several victims languish under the rubble and on the roads, as paramedics and civil defense rescuers remain impotent to reach them due to a shortage of essential equipment.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel entered into force on Oct. 11.

However, the Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the deal by conducting additional airstrikes, artillery shelling, and intensive gunfire across different parts of the enclave. (QNA)
