Nottingham Forest Appoint Oliver Glasner as Head Coach
London, July 06 (QNA) - Nottingham Forest have appointed Austrian coach Oliver Glasner as their new head coach, replacing Vitor Pereira, the Premier League club announced on Monday.
Glasner joins Forest after leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season, having guided the club to the UEFA Conference League title and its first major trophy by winning the FA Cup against Manchester City.
The 51-year-old becomes Forest's fifth permanent head coach in less than a year, following the departures of Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, Sean Dyche and Pereira, who was dismissed last week ahead of pre-season preparations.
Before his spell at Crystal Palace, Glasner led Eintracht Frankfurt to the UEFA Europa League title in the 2021-22 season. (QNA)
