Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Phone Conversation with German Foreign Minister

Doha, July 29 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Johann Wadephul held a phone call, where they discussed cooperation relations between Qatar and Germany and explored ways to further strengthen them. 
They also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and strengthening security and stability in the region.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the importance of all parties adhering to dialogue and diplomacy as well as implementing the agreement reached within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, including ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to maintain regional security, preserve the progress achieved, and promote lasting stability.
His Excellency reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts to defuse tensions and reach a comprehensive agreement that advances lasting peace in the region. (QNA)
