Russian Defense Announces Targeting of 2 Vessels in Black Sea, Port of Mykolaiv
Moscow, July 28 (QNA) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday the targeting of two vessels, one in the Black Sea and the other in port of Mykolaiv.
The Russian Defense Ministry clarified in a statement that a series of missiles targeted aآ dry bulk vessel carrying military equipment and supplies for Ukrainian forces.
Another vessel used for anchor handling, towing, and supply operations was also hit in the port of Mykolaiv, the ministry added.
In recent weeks, Russia has escalated its targeting of Ukrainian naval facilities, particularly in the south, while Kyiv has increasingly relied on surprise drone attacks, which have on several occasions managed to reach and damage Russian oil facilities. (QNA)
