Gaza, July 26 (QNA) - A Palestinian was martyred Sunday by Israeli occupation forces near Al-Tawam area in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation artillery shelled the eastern part of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and carried out a demolition operation in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

Artillery shelling also targeted the northeastern part of Al-Bureij refugee camp, followed by intense gunfire from Israeli tanks in the same area.

Sources at hospitals in Gaza announced Saturday that eight Palestinians were martyred and more than 20 others injured in Israeli occupation airstrikes and shelling across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,317, with 173,961 others injured since October 7, 2023. (QNA)
