Doha, July 25 (QNA) - The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli settler attacks against a number of villages in the occupied West Bank.
In its statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs deemed the attacks as a continuation of Israeli policies aimed at escalating violence against the brotherly Palestinian people and as a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
The Ministry said that these crimes reflect the occupation government's approach of enabling settlers to commit further violations and attacks under the protection of the Israeli military and Israeli security forces.
It called on Israeli authorities to fulfill their obligations under international law and international humanitarian law, put an end to settler attacks, and hold those responsible accountable.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also urged the international community to take urgent action to stop the repeated Israeli attacks, provide protection for the brotherly Palestinian people, hold those responsible for these escalating attacks accountable, and ensure that they do not enjoy impunity.
The Ministry reaffirmed the State of Qatar's steadfast position in support of the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
