QSE Index Declines by 0.12% at Start of Trading
Doha, July 21 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 12.37 points, or 0.12%, at the start of Tuesday's trading, down to 10,071 points, under pressure from four sectors.
The market data showed declines in the sectors of Banks and Financial Services (-0.10%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.17%), Insurance (-0.76%), and Telecoms (-1.02%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Industrials (+0.21%), Real Estate (+0.16%), and Transportation (+0.07%).
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,442 transactions worth QR 53.072 million, distributed across 22.793 million shares. (QNA)
