4.6-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Mexico
Mexico City, July 21 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck off Mexico's coast on Tuesday.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake's epicenter was located 84 kilometers southwest of Puerto Madero, at a depth of 35 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
Mexico is prone to frequent earthquakes due to its location at the convergence of five tectonic plates along the Pacific coast. A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck southern Mexico last week. (QNA)
