Jordanian, Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Escalation During Phone Call
Amman, July 19 (QNA) - Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan held a phone call on Sunday to discuss the dangerous escalation in the region and the need to end it.
During the call, both sides urged for the US-Iran ceasefire agreement to be implemented and for negotiations to resume as to reach a comprehensive resolution to regional tensions.
The Jordanian and Turkish Foreign Ministers called for the full execution of US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan to restore stability and for Israel to immediately lift all restrictions on humanitarian aid entering the strip, which is experiencing a humanitarian catastrophe.
Safadi and Fidan rejected all illegal Israeli actions that entrench the occupation in the West Bank and undermine the two-state solution, which they said is the only path to a just peace. (QNA)
