Arab Parliament Condemns Targeting of Kuwait's Civilian Infrastructure, Calling it a Threat to Regional Security
Cairo, July 20 (QNA) - The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting a power and desalination plant in Kuwait, considering the targeting of civilian and vital infrastructure a grave violation of international law, an unacceptable attack on Kuwait's sovereignty, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
In a statement issued on Monday, Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi affirmed the Parliament's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to preserve its security and stability, safeguard its sovereignty, and protect its vital facilities, stressing that Kuwait's security is an integral part of Arab national security.
Al Yamahi called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop such attacks and to take a firm stance against any violation targeting the sovereignty of Arab states or their civilian infrastructure. (QNA)
